St. Elizabeth has a myriad of volunteer opportunities. Please see our Ministries tab or events to see what you can do. The Diocese of Allentown requires all volunteers and employees to fulfill Pennsylvania state and local training and clearances. Church staff is available to help with this simple process.
Leading up to the Thanksgiving season, St. Elizabeth creates baskets for our families in need. St. Elizabeth also sponsors a giving tree each Christmas season. Families are encouraged to pick a tab off the tree and bring in an unwrapped gift. There are also opportunities to sponsor a family in need during the season. Anyone in need of these services must contact Mrs. Spieker well in advance of the season so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Use your monthly grocery budget and night out budget to painlessly support the Parish. Simply exchange your cash or check for a gift card of the same amount. You will receive full value and the Parish will receive a small percentage back from the store. Gift cards are available after Mass and at the Parish office. For more information on gift cards, or for a greater selection, click here.
Food is collected on the 3rd Sunday of the month for distribution to the local Ecumenical food pantry. Beans (dry or canned), cereal, jello, juice boxes, mac & cheese, peanut butter, pudding, rice, snack packages, soups, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce can always be used. Tissues, toilet tissue, shampoos and detergent are also greatly appreciated. Please bring your gift of non-perishable foods and other items to the back of the Church.
The Basket Social raises money for the Parish Religious education programs. We collect empty baskets, new items to fill the baskets and completed baskets July through September. Items can be dropped off at the parish office weekdays from 8 am to 3 pm. The Basket Social is typically held the weekend before Columbus Day in October.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry accepts donations of yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks as well as completed shawls and lap quilts for distribution throughout the year. Items can be dropped off at the Parish office.

TD Bank - Affinity Program
We're proud to announce a new partner in our fundraising efforts. We've joined TD Bank's Affinity Membership Program, which provides our organization the opportunity to earn annual cash contributions. We're thrilled with the ease of participating in this program and that there is no cost to our organization or our members. Simply inform the bank that you are affiliated with St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, and you want to be included in their affinity program. The bank will make an annual contribution to St. Elizabeth based on all participating individuals and businesses. For additional information, stop by or visit your local TD Bank store or call the Church office.
