The Women's Group meets the second and fourth month of each month. Join them as they seek to live their Mission Statement: The love of Jesus gives us the energy to achieve something higher. Everything we do is for Jesus while brining joy to all.
Throughout the year, there are several different events and Church functions that are celebrated with light refreshments. These include the sacraments of First Eucharist, Penance and Confirmation, special Masses and other events such as the Youth Group Seder Meal, Ministry retreat, and Parish fish fry. The Hospitality Ministry helps serve refreshments during these functions so that participants can focus on their celebration and prayers. If you are interested in helping, please email email@example.com. Join with an old friend or meet new friends.
The Martha's of St. Elizabeth
The Martha's of St. Elizabeth join together four to five times a year to prepare different meals and cookies for our special dinners. We make halupkis, pork and sauerkraut, fish fry dinners and Christmas cookies for fellowship and fundraising throughout the year. We chat, laugh, and create yummy dishes as we give of our time and talents.
The Basket Social is typically held in the beginning of October each year to raise money to support the Religious Education programs in the Church. Volunteers begin collecting and making themed baskets throughout the summer and early fall for our Basket Social. Parishioners also create unique themed baskets to add to the variety. Food is available during the event to make a family fun time. Volunteers are needed in the months before the event to create the baskets, during the event for ticket sales and food preparation and serving, and the day after the event to facilitate distributing the baskets to the winners.
Parish Breakfasts are held the second Sunday of each month from November to April. We have several teams who take turns throughout the year. The breakfast teams consider themselves to be the happiest workers in the Parish as they join together to make the food, serve and clean up. Each breakfast has a sponsor whose name is prominently displayed during the breakfast that they sponsor. Support our parish and receive some publicity at the same time.
Parish Festival is traditionally held the second weekend in June. For two nights we come together in fellowship with bands, festival and ethnic foods, kid friendly games and adult games. Many hands make light work.
