Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don’t have to sell anything. Organization members produce revenue by making regular household purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.
The St Elizabeth "Shoppe E's" Gift Card program is a painless way to help the parish. The parish purchases gift cards from several local grocery stores at a small discount. You then purchase them from the Church at face value. You receive a $100 grocery gift card for $100. There is no additional fee to you. Simply shop at your neighborhood store and pay with the gift card.
St Elizabeth has many of the most popular grocery stores available in scrip/gift cards. St. E's Shoppe E's Order Form. These cards are readily available for purchase after the weekend masses or from the parish office during work hours. Make stopping at the office (or at the back of Church on Sunday) before going to your grocery store part of your normal routine and you will be painlessly helping out the Parish.
For a greater choice in gift cards, you can order online cards for gifts or for your own use. This is also used as a fundraiser to help our parish, tuition for catholic education (including Pre-K, high school and PREP children). You can allocate your fund raising dollars to a particular student of St. Elizabeth or to our Parish. Order here by credit card - GLS Credit Card Available
There is one organization code for St Elizabeth. Credits are assigned based on the parishioner or school family purchasing. Anyone donating to a student must request that gift card credit be assigned to that student. If no student is assigned the credit the parish will receive the benefit of the credit. This is a great way to use your shopping dollars to help the parish.
